Benchmarking Next-Generation Sequencing Platforms: A Comprehensive Comparison Of Single-Cell RNA-Seq from Ultima UG 100 vs. Illumina NovaSeq X Plus

In this BioRxiv publication from Xiong, R. et al (Johnson & Johnson Innovation Medicine), a head-to-head comparison of the Illumina NovaSeq X Plus and the Ultima Genomics UG 100 was conducted using single-cell libraries prepared with the 3' Universal Gene Expression Kit from 10x Genomics. Both sequencing platforms are nearly identical at all examined resolutions, including major cell lineages, cellular sub-types, and pseudo-bulk analysis.
